Develop touch, movement and passing in tight areas to break into space and create.
This three-part session develops combination play in tight areas.
Set up remains the same as the previous practice.
The practice begins with an initial 4v4 possession box with two players from each side in diagonally opposite boxes, to receive and then combine with whoever plays into them. If a player receives on one side of their box it must come back out the other side. Successfully playing the combination will gain their team one point. Play for around 20 minutes.
Progressions: Progress to the boxes being vacant and players having to time a run to combine in the box to gain a point.
