This three-part session works on developing players’ ability and confidence in running with the ball.
Set up a playing area relative to the age and ability of your players. Mark out an end zone at each end of the area. Divide players into teams of 3v3 or 4v4.
Play a small-sided game, where players score by dribbling the ball into the end zone. Players are allowed to dribble the ball in from the side should it go off the pitch. Players aren’t allowed to pass the ball into the end zone.
