Teams start with one player, but a goal releases another. The more players, the greater the chance of scoring again.
Encourages players to shoot from all over the pitch and make overload decisions.
You will need balls, bibs, cones and three small goals (or cones marking out goals) in a circular area, with a 20-yard diameter, or the centre circle of an adult pitch. We have used 16 players in this practice.
Split your players into four teams of four players. One player from each team starts in the session, the other three players start on the side. The idea of the game is to score a goal to release a team-mate on to the pitch, which creates overloads to that team and makes it easier to score.
