Encourage players to be adventurous and create angles in this three-part session plan.
This three-part session encourages players to be adventurous and pass forward with a purpose, while also working on movement to receive and creating angles.
Set up an area relevant to the age and ability of your players. Mark out an end zone at each end of the area. Divide players into two equal teams and place a neutral player in each end zone.
This is a possession-based game. Teams score by passing the ball into the neutral players in the end zones. Once a team has scored in one end zone, they retain possession and look to get the ball into the opposite end zone. Progress the game by removing the neutral players and having teams score by receiving a pass in the end zone. A player cannot enter the end zone before the ball (offside).
