Pass and move to make the most of superior numbers and create goal scoring chances.
This 3v2 practice helps players understand the passing and moving pattern in a competitive scenario, encouraging them to take advantage of their superior numbers to create an overload and score goals.
Set up a playing area with two mini goals at each end. Divide players into two teams – one starts as the attack, the other as defenders.
The attacking team plays with a 3v2 advantage, looking to replicate the previous passing pattern to create opportunities to score goals. If the defending team wins possession, they can counter and score. Each team gets a set number of goes at being the attacking side, before swapping over.
