Here, players develop an awareness of where their team-mates are and have some fun, too.
This practice gives players a lot of touches on the ball, while also developing an awareness of where their team-mates are.
Set out an area relative to your number of players. Players are split into two teams. Every player has a ball.
Players dribble around the area, keeping the ball under control and avoiding collisions. When the coach calls out an object, players must leave their balls behind and find all of their team-mates. They must then make the shape of the object using their bodies – standing, sitting or lying. Every player in the team must be involved in the shape. The team that gets into the shape quickest wins the point.
Adaptations: Change the team numbers to make it more or less difficult.
