A fun, competitive game that encourages players to work as a team while developing basic skills
Gives players lots of touches on the ball and encourages them to work in a team, while thinking about timing, power and placement of passes.
Use the full pitch, relative to the number of players taking part. Split players into teams of four (or adjust for number taking part). Mark out a box for each team at each end of the pitch. Use all the balls you have, and split them between the teams. Place all balls into one area at the end of the pitch. Players then spread out between the two marked out areas across the pitch.
Aim is to be first team to transfer all their balls from the full area to the empty one. Player closest to the area filled with balls starts by running to get one. They pass it to the next player along, who passes it along the line, until the player at the end of the line dribbles it into the area. Once the first player has passed the ball, they can get the second one and start the chain again. When a team has all their balls in the other area, they sit down. First team to do so wins. Keep score and rotate order of players in the team.
