A chaotic and fun arrival activity or warm-up that promotes teamwork, awareness and speed of thought.
You need balls, bibs, cones and mini goals. Set up a square area, relative to the age and ability of your players, with a mini goal on each side. Split players into two teams.
Teams play against each other in the area. Both teams can score in any of the mini goals – the only rule is that they can’t score in the same goal twice in a row. Once a team has scored, they retrieve the ball from the mini goal and start play again.
The game can be adapted by adding more balls, or by taking goals away – doing either while play is ongoing will require players to adjust and adapt quickly.
