Having an underloaded attacking team means defenders can cover all passing options, forcing players to take more risks and dribble.
Set up an area relevant to the size of your group with a halfway line and a goal at each end. The teams play 4v5, each including a goalkeeper.
The underloaded team (Blues) starts with the ball in their defensive half. They can only score a goal from their offensive half, and must not lose the ball in the build up to the goal. If they do, they must win it back and start the move again from their defensive half.
Any goal the Blues score counts for two points. Each Red team goal scores one point.
Each time the ball goes out, or a goal is scored, the game restarts with the underloaded attacking team.
Rotate the teams, giving both a chance to attack and defend. Change the underload if there is not enough dribbling – try a 3v5, for example.
